Music streaming platform Spotify has been experiencing issues on Tuesday, according to its users.
DownDetector started recording reports of problems at 11.45am UK time, with subscribers claiming that music suddenly stopped playing.
Users in the UK and worldwide have reported issues with the browser version, claiming that tracks cannot be played, or paused or skipped when accessed.
Spotify’s app appears to be working for most – however, there have been some reports of issues on the app too.
Has Spotify said anything?
Spotify are yet to publicly acknowledge the problem, despite many Twitter users and DownDetector flagging the issue with over 1,200 UK reports at the time of writing.
Out of those who reported issues, 82 per cent reported problems with music streaming, 18 per cent with App usage, and 3 per cent with the website.
One Twitter user said “#SpotifyDown well at least the web player certainly is, just stopped mid song!”
With another frustrated listener tweeting “HELPPPP It’s been 2 seconds without music and im literally shivering in my boots please bring it backkkk”.
