Donald Trump will make his first court appearance on Tuesday afternoon in Manhattan, New York court officials have confirmed.
The former US president is facing criminal charges after being indicted by a grand jury in New York over so-called “hush money” paid to the adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016.
Mr Trump has denied any wrongdoing and denounced the investigation as a “scam,” a “persecution,” an injustice and a political low blow aimed at damaging his 2024 presidential run.
