There have been warnings that dissident Republicans in Northern Ireland could be plotting terror attacks over the Easter weekend, as US President Joe Biden visits to mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement.
Meanwhile, Labour has come under a fire for a social media post which said: “Do you think adults convicted of sexually assaulting children should go to prison? Rishi Sunak doesn’t.”
Former shadow chancellor John McDonnell was among those to criticise it, and this morning Shadow Culture Secretary Lucy Powell would not explicitly endorse the post.
