Arctic Monkeys will play the first of two live shows in Manchester tonight as they continue their UK tour.

The Sheffield band, made up of Alex Turner, Matt Helders, Nick O’Malley and Jamie Cook, are touring off the back of the release of their seventh studio album, The Car, released in October last year.

They have already played shows in Bristol and Coventry, and have a packed schedule up and down Britain in June before headlining Glastonbury Festival for the third time later this month.

What time will Arctic Monkeys be on stage tonight?

Arctic Monkeys are playing at the Old Trafford cricket ground, where gates will open at 4.30pm.

The Hives and The Mysterines are supporting the main act. The support is expected to begin at around 6.40pm, with Arctic Monkeys likely to take the stage between 8.45-9pm.

The gig should be over no later than 10.30pm.
