Singer Tom Ball, 24, astonished Britain’s Got Talent viewers last night as he revealed himself to be the voice behind this year’s Noodle the Cat contestant.

Ball, who came third on America’s Got Talent: All Stars , appeared from behind the stage doors halfway through a dramatic cover of Wings’ ‘Live and Let Die’.

The animated cat’s identity has remained concealed throughout the series and even the judges and Ant and Dec claimed not to know that the show’s former finalist was behind Noodle the Cat.

“I swear to God – I never knew who the voice behind the cat was,” said Simon Cowell.

“If you’re going to come back and win the show, you just come back as a cat. But I’ve got to hand it to you, you have never sung better than that.”

Despite his previous success on the franchise, Ball did not make it through to the final, after being beaten to the top spot by Malakai Bayoh and Duo Odyssey.

What does Tom Ball do now?

After finishing third on America’s Got Talent: All Stars, Ball reportedly secured a recording contract with Simon Cowell and fans have commented on his “glow up” since leaving the latest season.

One person tweeted: “Damn Tom Ball has gotten hot,” whilst another said: “TOM BALLS GLOW UP?? WHAT?? #BGT.”

Before gaining visibility on the show, Ball had appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and also worked as a music teacher, and despite his international success he continues to work as a music teacher, offering classes for subscribers online.

As well as continuing teaching, Ball is set to tour around the UK at multiple venues this winter, starting in Southampton and ending in Aberdeen.

Having been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 8, he also recently became an official ambassador of Diabetes UK.
